Recurve Shooting
Yeah, so I've been told. It is fun to shoot, but I suck with it so far. If I'm confident with it when August rolls around I'll use it for deer season.- Trbrincefield

Why my pack sucks: Kifaru, Stone Glacier, Exo, Seek, Mystery Ranch, Kuiu, etc.
First real pack was a Badlands 2200, not great, but worked good to carry all my stuff all base camp/day hunts. Next was a Sitka bivy 30. Nicer than the Badlands pack, but not an upgrade. Used one season, then was able to pick up a Mystery Ranch pop up 28. Love it. Fit is great, very comfortable...- Trbrincefield

Recurve Shooting
Just picked up a custom recurve from a local Bowyer, and will eventually hunt with it. Going from the latest and greatest in compound bow tech to a stick and string seems backwards, but it's just fun! When it comes down to the expensive hunts, I'll bring the compound...for now.- Trbrincefield

Idaho OTC tags
I got mine, 3rd year in a row in 2021. No luck last two years, but I learned a lot. The wife encourages me to keep at it, so I do. Idaho is beautiful, and there are elk out there. Still, for me. Worth the week in the woods if nothing else. Hopefully you got a tag.- Trbrincefield
