Ya I think I will knock on a few doors and see what happens. I have in the past and every once in awhile someone will say yes. When I was a kid I lived in Greeley and the ranchers were more than happy to let me go and shot prairie dogs but that was many years ago.- The Hollow

Ya she couldn’t even stand up in the trap. There were tracks around the trap from mom and two other juveniles fun day on the trap line.- The Hollow

Didn’t put out any traps this year because we moved from Westcliffe down to Rye in September. Do pretty well with the Bobcats in the Wet Mountain Valley depending on the snow fall. Had this guy in a trap one year! Young cat don’t know how she even got in the trap. I released her by the way.- The Hollow

I haven’t found that the ATV traffic effects the elk. The elk are in there but tend to move quite a lot. I have a couple areas that have had elk passing through but I really need to figure out their hiding spots.- The Hollow

I definitely try to get as far away from the trail as I can but it’s nice to get some miles away from all the camps. I generally look for dark timber canyons that are close to hidden parks.
