    Trappers

Lucky that 220 didn't break a wrist or something.

    Trappers

Lol Lol, I can imagine, it was ridiculous trying to get that coil spring off my thumbs with my feet.

    A bit foamy..

For sure I'm just saying for the occasional diy, everything I used gets rinsed down the drain every time someone dose dishes or gets their hair done.

    Trappers

They hurt that's for sure. While setting a coil spring trap in a makeshift cubby set for bobber I caught both of my thumbs after I stapled it to the base of a tree. It wasn't very funny at the time, good for a laugh now though. Sure wished I had a trapping partner that day.

    Trappers

There is a bunch of YouTube videos on it, it don't teach you everything you need to know, but there's some good info to help get started. I've been out of it for years and miss it badly.

    .270 Powders

I second this powder, but I use the 4831sc it has the same properties but more consistent out of the powder measurer. I use 130s in accubond or ballistic tip from nosler and federal 210 primers.

    A bit foamy..

Taking a cow elk on an either sex tag

Hi guys, It's my belief and opinion that every elk is a trophy, regardless of their jewelry. I would maybe hold out depending on freezer levels, number of tags obtained/filled for the year, due to loving the chase, and whether or not my beautiful bride to be has filled tags yet. It's almost like...

Taking a cow elk on an either sex tag

That's a good problem to have, I enjoy cutting meat, it's like an extension of the hunt.

Some basic "long" range hunting questions

I may be speaking a bit out of turn here, but long range is a relative term. A 100 yard shot after a dash to head something off or to place your self in position may take a steady rest, and may be difficult at that, things like life long anticipation, not being use to altitude, fumbling to...
