Garmin is arguably the best chrono on the market right now. Versatility, easy to use, the info it gives you, and the durability (looking at you labradar). Unmatched imo.- SubSpider

****OFFICIAL****2024 SPRING BEAR THREAD
Hunted with a skiff on the north side of the island. I think the north side was more scarce, I talked to some hunters on the way back home and they said they only saw two bears and they hunted Whales pass for 8 days. They didn’t get a shot on either and left empty handed.- SubSpider

Thank you! Good luck on your trip. It was the only bear I saw on the trip but we might’ve been a little early, you should hopefully see more bears on your trip. We got him on day 4 of an 8 day hunt.- SubSpider

I just got back from POW this year and was lucky enough to take a bear. I did it completely unguided and DIY. A lot of outfitters to be had if you want to take that route and pay the money. It is not really any cheaper to DIY it from my experience but it depends on how you hunt, gear you have...- SubSpider

New to the forum, figured my first post would be the bear I just got back home with. Drew the tag for Prince of Wales in AK and had my first ever "western" hunt. What an adventure!
