25 RPM released today.
It is in the 6 lug Mark V and the 307. Both of which Weatherby makes. The Vangard is made by Howa, with perhaps a Weatherby stock put on it.- std7mag

Or the 7mm-08 HuntTalk. 😉 None of the Weatherby cartridges are on your list. Nor the 25-06, 284 Win. @mtmuley will be disappointed to see no RUM cartridges. No 338 Lapua. Definitely no PRC cartridges. -

25 RPM released today.
Well it appears that Weatherby has officially released the 25 RPM today. Multiple bullets available from factory, including Hornady, Hammer and Berger. Available in the Mark V six lug and the 307.- std7mag

Let's Hear About your favorite Wheel guns.
Have you patterned the bird shot? My Taurus Judge with the 6" barrel leaves the paper clean at 25 yards. Unless the person is in the living room with you, you might want to switch to something else. -

Pork I have done Teriyaki, and a BBQ marinade. Chicken I've marinated in Italian dressing, herb and white wine, BBQ and Teriyaki. Depends on my mood.- std7mag

Most of my use is a day pack. But I sometimes spend the night outdoors. I'm mostly a water, dried fruits, oat bars, and jerky of some sort. While I can get these things from the store, I prefer to make it myself. I do use pork, chicken, beef and deer for jerky. Different seasonings for...- std7mag

Swift Sciroccoll Bullets
I got a box of the 150gr, 7mm Sirocco bullets a few years ago. Plenty accurate enough on the range, especially for a hunting rifle. Developing Loads for the .25-6.5PRC
If it were me, I'd look at neck reamers instead. Take the extra brass from the inside, instead of chasing it around from the outside. I use the ID reamer when I made 6.5mm Rem Mag brass from 7mm Rem Mag. Lots of trimming on that one!!!- std7mag

Rifle Identification?
Interesting!! Looks like it might possibly be older than the 1940s. But the "serial" number kinda throws things off as they weren't required until the 1960's. Possibly was a military firearm? They were known for using 4 digit codes. Mostly I believe to keep the various parts together for the... -

Hammer vs Barnes question???
The Hammer or Cutting Edge will work fine if not going through heavy bone. They are both designed to go in about 3", then the petals open and shear off, radiating outwards. Essentially turning one bullet into 5, or 7. But I've shot through the front leg bone with a 115gr, 25 caliber and...- std7mag
