Go on the hunt, you might get a little fallout from the wife but that's another deal altogether Then when you take the kid hunting later in life you can tell him/her this is what you where doing when he/her popped out, it might help them later in life too.- SSGOldfart

E-bike Access?
#1 I'm not a troll, just belive Acess to PUBLIC Land should be open to everyone. The ideal that if it has a motor it should be blocked, well I guess that would also block my power wheel chair Backofbeyound Did point out a couple of programs I wasn't aware of. Thank you Sir there is a starting point, I dislike the ideal of hunting from a vehicle it takes away from the hunt.IMO Texas also allows the same hunting from a parked vehicle I tried it once and didn't feel like I was hunting at all- SSGOldfart

So what about game recovery? I have to drag around a wheelchair around,and have been working a few years trying to get to the point I can ride a e bike and still not sure I'll ever get there, it kinda seems Access is the issue some have here?(less is better) maybe I'm reading into it but public...- SSGOldfart

ATV are not as easy too use as a e bike and require towing to your hunt area E bike looks much safer to me.alot quieter and a little easier over all, ATV are not allowed on the National Forest land here in Texas (expect one trail near Houston Texas) E bikes are on most area's.- SSGOldfart

guess I don't really have a dog in the hunt yet, but I'm planning to soon. I'm a disabled veteran and the only way I could ever get into the woods that far back is to use a ATV (which is very painful) or a E-bike with my crossbow.So maybe the powers to be might look at some expection for the...- SSGOldfart

Muzzy with 50 grains powder
I've killed whitetails with 70grains of black powder with a patched round ball and yes recoil is less then a shotgun slug keep the shots close as you can under 75 yards- SSGOldfart
