    Arizona Unit 23 Late Archery Elk

    22 and 23 late archery are not easy hunts, but I did see and hesitate too long on a Texas heart shot at 15 yards on one of the biggest bulls of my life. You really need to scout these units and pattern the elk if you want to be successful.

    Anybody else muzzleloader hunting this year

    I will be hunting New Mexico unit 23 for Elk with my muzzleloader. .45 Cal Paramount Pro with 300 gr Pittmans. For of those of you not familiar with New Mexico or its units, this is a very tough hunt regardless of which weapon you are using.
