If you can find a canyon with mud, you'll get good info on what's in there. My sense was they bed down up in the south facing cliffs...- silasd

Hi all, I got lucky and drew 2B after three years of zero tags. It's the last Oct rifle hunt. I want to go up and scout in a couple of weeks just to get the lay of the land. If you had to pick a side, would you start scouting the Carson NF side or the lake side? Any pointers to focus me more are... -
