    My taxidermist “converted” a pedestal mount form to a wall mount. Also cut the head and turned it more so it cleared everywhere. Now it’s in the corner out of the way

    To me the Thor was too much of a pain, so I’m went with the Federal B.O.R. Lock 350 lead. Easy to load and groups great. Hopefully we will see how they work on an elk in a few weeks

    Tree stand for elk

    Have had good luck elk hunting from stands, like mentioned before it’s best to practice from an elevated position and train yourself to aim low to avoid hitting the dead zone up high. Don’t be afraid to call from the stand either and be patient
