Wow, if hunters and trappers took 1500 wolves in that short of time there must be a lot of wolves in that area. The success rate of wolf harvest is typically pretty low. How can we get the ESA revamped?, it sounds like that is the best way to cut down on the continual litigation's.- Ron Wright

I'll try again then. I'm trying to convey a worst case scenario that the anti hunting crowd tends to try to capitalize on. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot a GB if I came across one in the wilderness, they are unpredictable, so why take the chance. Also letting them go unscathed would just...- Ron Wright

Just when our Elk have started recovering from Wolves, it's time to throw Grizzlies at at them, no thanks. Another concern for me is that this is just one more avenue to make a criminal out of an outdoorsman. Nice pics! I wouldn't hesitate to take that buck either :) I would guess 170 class based on weak fronts and narrowness. A lot of guys with more experience than I are saying 180 class though. What does it typically take to make up for weak fronts on a Buck?- Ron Wright

Your thoughts on a few items, please.
Glad to hear you got the insulated air core rather than the air core, it is better suited for backpack hunts. 4.1 should be fine for most of the conditions you will encounter. Another bit of trivia here is that the coldest part of the day is at sun up. Your out of your bag by then :)- Ron Wright
