WA spring turkey
OR spring bear if I draw
OR archery roosevelt elk
WA fall bear
WA muzzleloader elk (probably can't hunt much of the season though)
WA general rifle blacktail
OR late archery blacktail
This will be my first full year in WA and I'm pretty excited for this year's hunting plans...
I'm also interested in what people will recommend for this question, but I wanted to mention that it's worth comparing more than just battery capacity when you are trying to get an idea on battery life. I have a pixel 8 (4575 mAh) and my battery life is abysmal. This is a common complaint and...
Just a general hunting license. Sounds fair to me, I usually put an absurd amount of pins down when I go anywhere so I don't think there will be any doubt where I have been
I'm going to Oregon for the weekend, and figured I might as well bring a shotgun in case I see some snowshoe hares. But then I got to thinking that I should head east and try for some jackrabbits too. I've never hunted them and I've always been curious. It's legal to hunt black-tailed...
I've been making this Middle Eastern Rice fairly often lately and I really like it. I will usually sub out the ground turkey for either shredded chicken thighs or ground venison because ground turkey is so bland, but honestly it's still pretty good in this particular recipe.
Huh, I didn't even consider a short-term small game license, I didn't think that existed in MI but it does. I could get a 3 day for 50 dollars or a 7 day for 80. That's a bit more palatable. Guess I should have checked a few days ago!
I didn't realize how much I would miss squirrel hunting when I moved from the midwest to WA. It has me contemplating paying the $150 for a NR base license while I'm back home in MI for Christmas, but I haven't gotten that desperate yet.
At the risk of being redundant, I think you are arguing what is theoretically possible and they are telling you what will actually happen with 99% certainty based on Idaho's political history + the massive cost to manage as much federal land as Idaho has + similar situations in other Western...
Understandable for sure, I have heard that it can get pretty convoluted. It really is a bit daunting, as someone who hasn't been reading as often I would like. I feel like it would take me months to get through it at the pace I have been reading at lately.
Recalibrate in what way?
I still haven't read infinite jest, but I plan to sometime in the future. I really enjoy his essays and interviews though. I read "Consider the Lobster" off the recommendation of my freshman English professor when I was writing an essay about c&r fishing mortality, and...
I know some people who have shot some off public (further north) but no clue if it's more or less than what they usually find, since it's my first year here. More whitetails than there used to be seems to the most common report, and in places they historically were not present. Not saying that...
