Another Kodiak 10x14 fan here. I have used mine with 2-3 hunters on Sept and Oct hunts, or to sleep 4-5 on summer campouts back here in PA. Just a buddy heater to take the edge off in the mornings has worked great, down to the upper teens. The thing is pretty bombproof, stays dry, and we like... -

2023 Utah Draw Results
I'm on timeout for elk after drawing a few years back with 18 points. I'm in for the OILs and for LE pronghorn, with various single digit point levels. Unlikely to draw any of them, ever, but I definitely won't if I'm not in.- PAhunter

Most of my hunting's been the East. 36 seasons, but dad wasn't much of a hunter, so I got a slow start on big game. Was a squirrel & groundhog serial killer the first few years. 31 WT bucks (5 states) 62 WT does 1 MD buck 3 black bear boars, 1 sow 19 longbeards (3 states) 3 jakes 3 hens 1...- PAhunter

Current numbers, in that case: NR Elk Regular = $692 + $15 app fee NR Deer Regular = $374 + $15 app fee NR Lope Regular = $326 + $15 app fee -

Somebody hasn't done their homework... None of these "current" numbers are accurate. "Under the bill, for those first-in-line 40% of nonresidents, fees would jump nearly 118% from $576 to $1,258 for elk tags. Prices would go from $288 to $826 for deer (a 187% jump) and from $288 to $874 for... -

Nice recap, wllm. Thanks for the share. It's not just a swamp thing either; laurel/rhododendron thickets in Appalachia are similarly frustrating to hunt. @TOGIE I think the "limited public land" is true some places, but many eastern states have more public land than you could ever want to try...
