Lifelong hunter and Wisconsin resident. I have taken a couple of bears, some deer, and several turkeys with both gun and bow. I started looking in to hunting "Out West" a couple of years ago and I'm now buying points in Wyoming and South Dakota. I chose the aforementioned states to apply in as they cost is relatively reasonable and they are "close" to Wisconsin. For now, all of my Western hunts will be DIY as guided hunts and landowner tags aren't in the budget with a young family.
