    If your hog hunting, I get it… but deer, pronghorn and elk shouldn’t require multiple shots where mirage would be an issue. The shooting range is a different matter. However if you’re heating up that much, you’re going to affect your accuracy anyways.

    You don’t need one. They are used to keep mirage down caused by rapid fire.
