Petition to mandate hunters to carry bear spray in Montana.
I have really good bear spray contained in a S&W 41 magnum with hand loaded 265 grain hard cast. As long as I can stay relatively calm, good luck with that, I feel somewhat safe. Stinking bears….grrrrrr….?
OK, apples off the tree. Very nice Jona Gold pie and applesauce apples. Too good for the stinking bears. Broke limbs on both trees. I do not want to shoot a bear. Not my bag. Yes, it is natures way. I mowed the lawn yesterday. Forgot to plug the electric fence back in when complete. Mr. Bear got in the garden and wreaked havoc with our apple trees. I have hunted bears with a friend. Never took one as it’s a conundrum of mine and decided it’s not my bag. Oh well. But, I may change my mind...- MTGunner

Kudos for Nosler customer services…
I purchased some 7x57 brass directly from Nosler. Three pieces were junk. I contacted the customer directly stating my concern. They shipped me replacement brass. Nosler is good for there word. I am pleased. But, they shipped me 7MMRUM brass. Hmmmmm….. oh well. So, I have 5 pieces of Nosler...- MTGunner

How old is too old to apply for physical hunts?
I turn 79 today. Yep,79 years old. I am excited waiting to see if I draw an antelope permit. Antelope are a fun hunt. I have a deer and elk tag for MT. I have a Nilgai hunt in early Nov. Yep, you get old. But, keep moving. MTG- MTGunner
