New Mexico unit 51 first rifle
Anyone going to be up here for the Nov 21-25 cow hunt? I'll be up by myself if anyone else has the same and wants to share info or anything. -

Upgrade from a Tikka T3x 270
My Tikka T3X 6.5CM shoots sub 1/2 MOA with multiple factory loads. Other than the stock not being the most comfortable, it's hard to argue with that for the price you can get them for. -

NM Unit 57
There's not a whole lot of state land that isn't landlocked. Any of the accessible state lands that aren't in the Pinion Juniper should be worth checking. I don't see more than a few of those but I'd want to check all of them out. -

My son draws a N.M. oryx tag...now what?
It will be extremely hot that time of year. Like near 100 each day. It will probably be more enjoyable to hunt mornings before it gets too hot. Tough hunting especially from out of state. You will probably put lots of miles in looking for them. I drew it for March of '20. Good luck!!- monday

NM Unit 41 Aug 17-19 Antelope Tag
There will be antelope all over that unit. I'd spend a day scouting both of the areas you're asking about. -

New Mexico 16B - Foot Friendly?
I imagine a lot of that would depend on how far you're willing to hike, if you're camping off your back, and how far you're willing to pack an elk out? -
