For walleyes I'd fish mid lake reefs in 20-30 feet. Use your electronics to find the fish and use live bait rigs with minnows, leeches or crawlers to catch them.
I'm getting anxious to set some beaver traps. We had 10 inches of snow a couple of days ago so hoping we get some water from that. Our rivers and creeks are very low. I trap mainly 2 year old beaver that are traveling to find a new home in the spring, and it's better with higher water.
The Upper Red Lake Area Association is having a meeting Tuesday March 19 at 6:00pm. It's at the Waskish town hall the public is encouraged to attend, hopefully we can convince people this is a bad bill
