Sitting just north of Houston, we dodged a bullet with this one. seems to be skirting just east of us for the most part...expecting some wind (need to roll my bbq off the edge of my patio) and rain, but nothing crazy here. So legitimate question from a new prospective elk hunter with genuine ignorance overall...How applicable are these early season photos to actual hunting season? Creedmoor question (probably again)
can 2nd this on the Federal Fusion...rolled through the hornady options in my .308 Ruger American, and same optics as the OP and the federal fusions were the ones that stayed most true over several outings. Would assume the same quality goes into the 6.5 loads- MistahMoon
