Thanks for the support everyone, I truly appreciate it.
It's been a rough go for a while, and I'm sure it'll continue to be so.
This was stephs last deer, a memory I will cherish forever.
No offense, but if you think a 300blk is a good option for hunting out to 400yds you don't know what you are talking about.
The 300blk is a great suppressed range gun with subs. But it is not a big game cartridge in any way.
I ended up going with the savage ultralight in 6.5cm.
You don't. Doesn't mean the land owners aren't going to want them. They'll make some sob story about losing the ability to hunt on tags they've always had access to.
I was meaning in the areas in which the permit would be for public land only. The land owner would be about to hunt there own land on there General tag.
I have little issue with landowner tags as a concept.
But see no need for them to get a portion of the tags that aren't valid for there land.

If they can't get land owners transferable tags I guess they are just going to make everyones tag valid.
Who thinks over half the people who go out with a muzzle gun this year have something that doesn't meet the requirements?
Honestly I'm thinking half might be an underestimate.
