I passed on applying this year. It comes down to I have a really chance of drawing other tags so I felt NM wasnt worth my time and its all random so Im not penalized for skipping a year.- Mattff200

If my memory is correct ( big assumption) they strike the resident/non-resident split in the proposed regs and then put it in the approved regs.- Mattff200

Which western states have been disproportionately good to you in drawing tags?
I have to say Wyoming. I am a resident, so that makes drawing tags easier. They have blessed me with two bison tags in five years. On the 1st one I was unsuccessful and I got it done on the 2nd one.
