For what's it's worth I wrote my congresswoman and said I was against all the fee increases. I am a Wyoming resident and think this is just wring especially after hiking the special tag costs last year. I even pointed out how they stack up against the neighboring states.
I'm starting to think that with the rush for idaho general tags it's not really worth waiting in line. Instead treat the license cost as an expensive raffle ticket and try for some limited entry tags and then checkout the returned tag list.
Drew my elk tag, this hunt had double the applicants compared to last year so luckily myself my friend and the GF get to go elk hunting Iin a special unit. The antelope tag even had way more people apply for it than ever before and I'm a resident. Still managed to have my dad get a tag as a non...
No luck bit I've applied know it's long odds. My family has a camp in Northern Maine so it would he a once in a lifetime tag that they could be a part of. I've hunted there a couple times and would definitely go DIY on a moose tag
I'm personally a huge fan of Wyoming. But then again I'm a resident and every year I've had residency I've managed to draw and fill three antelope tags, one any antelope tags and two doe fawn tags. They are my favorite animal to eat.
I know western Wyoming gets all the attention but there is some really pretty country in NE Wyoming. It's an underrated part I'd the state but I've come to love it since I moved up here in 2019 for a job.
Thanks and I can say all the work was worth it. She's tastes great and after Christmas I'll have all sorts of ground products made. I do all my grinding on one weekend.
Thank you it was fun and it's nice having a good area to hunt about 60 miles from your door. Also as of now tenderloins are gone and I'm through most of the backstraps. By just pulling stuff from the freezer I've now downgraded to make deer and antelope 🤣
Nah I'm not a stud. I'm just a guy who loves to hunt and shoot. Also I love eating elk so once they are down I will get the meat to the truck. I haven't had to but meat from the store in a couple years.
