Need Help Please!?!?!?
Heath, Congrats on the new weapon! I look at it this way, the choke tube is a NECESSITY. Been hunting turkeys for 10 years and have yet to shoot one with a scope on my gun (mainly because we can't use scopes in AL for turkeys) but anyway used a turkey choke on ALL my kills...- markt99

How many years and how did you get started?

South Carolina Turkey Season
The season really depends on the Zone that you are hunting in. The southern part of the state has several game Zones that open on March 15th while the northern part of the state has zones that do not open until the end of the month. I do all my hunting in SC in Hampton and Jasper county which...- markt99

Buying any new calls this year?
CTH, I am with you. I am replacing some mouth calls that I lost at the end of the year last year. I lost my whole call case. That was terrible. But anyway, I stay away from the mass produced calls like the 4x4 and stick with custom slates and boxes. It is kinda a collection thing for me...- markt99

I know lots of people in that area and deer hunt with some folks right on the river in Monroeville right below the paper mill. I am still working on a Turkey hunt over there...- markt99

Amen to that CTH. Where you gonna be hunting on private land? I have several places in south Alabama, but it is a long way to travel every weekend. I am going to spend most of the first 2 weeks down there, then concentrate on the North part of the state, which is why I am trying to find out...- markt99
