I believe his last name is Slapper. Richard Slapper

    Which one of you bastards . . . .

There is so much wrong with this I can't even begin.... Imagine someone asking you to "pass the nutcheese." This is a real thing people. Possibly the beginning of the end when it comes to cheese as we know it.

    Which one of you bastards . . . .

I'm very passionate about my cheeses... Sometimes my passion gets the best of me and I lash out at others. I'll do better ;)

    Which one of you bastards . . . .

I'll pass on that offer. I'd be surprised if you could actually take a dump, after crapping in all those packages of discount Wisconsin cheese. 1-Ply toilet paper has higher standards than Wisconsin cheese packaging :)

    Which one of you bastards . . . .

Sorry, but that second rate packaging on Lynn’s Dairy would have me running. On the other hand. That classy and professional packaging on the Tillamook is a thing of beauty.

    Az Ban Trail Cams?

Since we survived without them for decades upon decades, I'm sure all will be fine if they are banned. Some states have banned the use of drones as well, which I am very much in favor of. The line has to be drawn at some point.

Saving camping spots on dispersed public land

These are the most difficult of all for the BLM and FS Leo's. The documentation a court requires is insane. Often it must go to court for the Leo to get a judgement for the camp to be removed/torn down. So many have been thrown out of court because of a technicality it's unreal (a missed day...

Saving camping spots on dispersed public land

Yep. That is sad and pathetic. A pure example of laziness and incompetence in regards to that specific National Park. Over the years, I've known some great LEOs and none of them would have ignored your reports with zero follow up with you. Even if they are slammed and can't get out ASAP...

Saving camping spots on dispersed public land

First, no one OWNS the right to a particular dispersed site. It would be called private property in that case. Some folks don't care how long you or your family has hunted there. It's public land and if they get there first, sorry.... That doesn't mean leave your camp up weeks ahead of time...

Saving camping spots on dispersed public land

The National Parks Service and the United States Forest Service are two separate organizations, so that must be noted first. Also, not everyone in uniform is an "officer". A park ranger or wilderness ranger has a qualification (3 days of training) as a Forest Protection Officer (FPO). This...

Saving camping spots on dispersed public land

This is true. Think about it. The ONE FS LEO that is assigned to your National Forest, can't be everywhere at once. When that person is off for the day, on a different forest, pulled for a National assignment, etc.., there is no one to fill in for them except local or state Law Enforcement...

Saving camping spots on dispersed public land

You won't find many "interns" that want confrontations with armed hunters or homeless folks. This is a situation they are simply not trained for and can go sideways in a hurry. It's happened. But for the most part it's folks actually living on the Forest and they don't have the means to pay...

Saving camping spots on dispersed public land

I don't disagree with what you are saying. That said. The Forest Service is so pathetically funded these days that this will never be realistic. They simply don't have the bodies on the ground to track, document and site these people. No one wants to hear that, but it's true. It's truly...

Saving camping spots on dispersed public land

Here's a little thing folks don't know. For an Forest Service LEO to site someone, that LEO or another Forest Protection Officer (FPO) needs to see people at the dispersed site each and everyday and have it documented. To be an FPO all you need to do is take a 3 day training course. These...

    Christmas Gifts

Darn tough socks are the best. I've got a ton of them and they last forever.
