Any cow elk only hunters this year?
You can't eat the horns! Thats what we like to say. I have a shoulder season tag for 217 in Montana that I hope to fill before the end of the season. -

Newbie in MT
I started going out with my father in law to keep him company and get some exercise a few years ago. Last year I finally got my own tags and used one of his rifles. This year, I got my own rifle and my first cow elk! I didn't know if I had it in me or not, but now I'm hooked! -
