New year's eve dinner.

Canning quality
If you are canning meat you must use a pressure canner. Water bath canning (in pot) is mostly for fruit or jam. Please use a process authority on canning. A book reference or some county/state extension document. If using a pressure gauge you should have it checked/calibrated once a year...- Jnasa

Are tungsten turkey loads worth the money?
I think TSS can be great. I just haven’t used it. I have had no problems using my copper plated lead loads. I’m not shooting past 40 yards and most of my shots are working 25. Leupold scopes love or hate em?
I have had great luck with Leupold rifle scopes. For a hunting scope I think they are great. I won’t say they are the best on the planet but for the price range a very solid scope. Plus they have been good to me with warranty on a couple of old gloss gold rings that are over 25 years old... -

Moving to Grangeville
I haven’t hunted coyotes much around there but a friend has. Make sure if hunting private that you make sure the landowner is ok with it. Quite a few of the farmers actually don’t want coyotes shot to help control ground squirrels, mice, and other rodents. Others are ok with it though so... -

‘25-‘26 Upland Bird Thread
Managed to leave work early to chase Pheasants and Huns. Jumped them in the first half mile. The other 3 miles were just for the scenery I guess. Still a great afternoon.- Jnasa

Because you wouldn’t have gotten it otherwise. I understand it sucks. You mentioned being worried about the president of just trying to illegally retrieve. If they confiscated the deer then gave it to you. It could set a precedent of not caring for boundaries and just having ODWC retrieve it...- Jnasa
