I have had great luck with Leupold rifle scopes. For a hunting scope I think they are great. I won’t say they are the best on the planet but for the price range a very solid scope. Plus they have been good to me with warranty on a couple of old gloss gold rings that are over 25 years old...
I haven’t hunted coyotes much around there but a friend has. Make sure if hunting private that you make sure the landowner is ok with it. Quite a few of the farmers actually don’t want coyotes shot to help control ground squirrels, mice, and other rodents.
Others are ok with it though so...
Managed to leave work early to chase Pheasants and Huns.
Jumped them in the first half mile. The other 3 miles were just for the scenery I guess. Still a great afternoon.
Do you know this is what ODWC does? Many states I know of will auction items off the following year. Anything that is no longer needed for evidence that is.
Because you wouldn’t have gotten it otherwise. I understand it sucks.
You mentioned being worried about the president of just trying to illegally retrieve. If they confiscated the deer then gave it to you. It could set a precedent of not caring for boundaries and just having ODWC retrieve it...
I feel like that is a significant expense to upgrade your American. With all those changes not much leaving it your “first rifle”.
If it was me I’d keep your first rifle for a backup and to break out occasionally. Take the money you would spend and pick up something different. It’s up to you...
Never lived there but have known people from there and surrounding area. Smaller town fairly tight knit. Fairly high percentage catholic. Some good people there. Most people drive to Lewiston for their big grocery purchases.
The general area is predominately agriculture. Quite a bit of...
I can understand his frustration but not sure if he has any ground to stand. It is obvious they are making it look like MKC even the orange in black common with them. If any of us had a company and someone copied a product like they we’d likely take issue.
As others stated paracord handles...
The traditional ones I saw you screw the skull cap to a plaque. Then form around it with sort of a paper mache. Then cover it and trim with a fabric/leather of your choice.
Most kits have just a little form you cover the skullcap with which is easier but not quite as cool looking.
that’s the point Tree Shark. They won’t be able to pay for it. They will have to sell off some of the land to help balance budget. I’m not saying all but I cannot see a scenario where federal land transfer to the date doesn’t result in significant portions of that being sold to private...
I’ve hunted and killed many animals with Barnes bullets. I’ve never had any issues with them. Internal damage has been good. I’ve never tried hammers but imagine they’d perform well.
