They just don't build beautiful hunting guns like they used to.
It depends on you define it. I have my Winchester pre 64 30-06 I had for 40 plus years. My oldest son has a Weatherby Mark V ultralite 30-06. It was two of us. One buck had to be a 8 or more the other was up to you. We took 2, 8 pointers 1, 4 point and 2 doe. -

We did 5 day Whitetail in SC 2 Buck and 2 Doe with Lodging. Total was just a little over $2100 Hunt,License,Food and Tip. -
