Thanks for the link. That was a good read. Populations look ok but it is not too current. Hopefully there will be some elk around for me to find. Anybody else have any info?? We are less than a month away from the start of bow season. thanks -

Took one down Monday night...
Looks like a super bear. Looks bigger than 6' to me. Funny how in some posts everyone is doubting the size of someones animial and then others people think it is bigger than it acutally is. I guess a lot of it has to do with the camera angle and stuff, sometimes pictures are misleading.- Jim G

Baiting and 55 gallon barrels
No body else has any input?? WTF??? No problem. I read the ID regs, and it looks like you can't use a plastic barrel? Is this the way everyone else reads it too? Still interested if anyone has any good ideas. thanks- Jim G

I am going to start using some 55 gallon barrels for baiting this year and was wondering if anybody has any great ways of setting one up? Do you get ones with the lid that comes off? Do you lock it closed? How big of a hole in the side? Do you just leave this hole open or weld some hanging chain...- Jim G
