You guys are young, naming the bands my kids listened to. I was more of an Iggy-Sex Pistols-Clash-Pogues kind of guy. To me, Green Day is a “new” band.
Crazy game tonight in Winnipeg. I still loathe the Avalanche so I was glad to see it. Interesting that all the home teams have won game 1s (so far, waiting to see on Vancouver-Nashville).
My Red Wings didn’t make it so I’m hoping a Canadian team can get to the finals.
When I’m on a multiday hunt, I carry a journal and write in it to help pass the time, especially in the slow parts or the middle of the day. It’s a way to chronicle my adventures, and it helps me remember some of the special non-hunting experiences like hearing music from a sunset church service...
I have a thing about finding obscure, little-known battles to read about. Anyone can be an expert on Gettysburg or Normandy or Waterloo; how much do you know about the Falklands or the China-Burma-India theater?

I agree on insoles; it sounds like the OP needs to look there rather than at the uppers or outsole. Insoles are the easiest and cheapest part of a boot to address, and in many cases can make the biggest impact.
