    Get out and hunt! If that means a female tag, and you are content with that, do it. My 9 year old boy drew a ewe tag in the Pecos in New Mexico this year. We had an absolute riot.

    No. But, if you don’t play the game you have a 0% chance of drawing. I drew a NR cow bison in wyoming this year, and my 9 year old son drew a ewe RMS tag in New Mexico (trying to build my 10 replies so I can post that story 🙄). Granted these are both female tags it makes me feel slightly better...

    I also drew a unit 2 type 4 tag! I'm really excited, but also in a bit of a pickle. My 9-year old son drew a youth-only bighorn sheep tag in New Mexico. I'm going to need a 3rd job just to afford the tag fees.
