    I did not get as much meat as I would have liked. Quarters, tenderloins, and back straps. I would have liked to get more rib and neck meat and some of the liver, heart etc. But it was hot with a decent pack out and i wanted to get things on ice. Quite a bit of bloodshot around the shoulders...

    Lots of firsts with this one, first successful solo hunt, first elk, first time using gutless method, first pack out. I stalked into her bed from my glassing spot a mile away. Shot from 110 yards.
