    Somewear

    What did you end up going with? I have been looking at the Somewear and the Zoleo. I like the idea of not having the monthly subscription plans with the Somewear, but the device costs quite a bit more.

    How late in the season were you hunting? Were you seeing many elk on the private near the elevation you were able to hunt?

    Thanks for the feedback on 33! I'll have to do some e-scouting on water within the unit. I see you are from MN as well, hopefully I'll get to meet you at one of the RMEF banquets. I'll be at the one South of the River Chapter Gun Blitz banquet on August 18th.

    I have the Android version, it is difficult to click on the layer feature to add one feature without turning on or off all the other sublayers. I am loving the species distribution in the app, it's great not going on the cpw site to view that data.

    When using chains on non-highway roads, are you always in 4lo? Reason I ask, I purchased an 08 4Runner and my 4lo doesnt to engage, apparently it's a common issue if it hasn't been used in the past. Are chains still useful if 4hi is all I have working by fall?

    South Dakota Pheasant hunt

    Lots of birds all over the eastern half of the state. I had good success during Thanksgiving and Christmas this past year. Even saw a cow moose walking through a cut corn field!

    Wyoming Unit 120 access?

    That's good to hear, ideally I'd just hunt BLM, especially since it's a cow tag. Hoping to get out there a few days for archery to learn the unit and fill my Dad's antelope tag and then come back a couple weeks after rifle has started.
