    GPS or phone

We’ll stated Buzz! Especially in cold weather the phone batteries drain so much faster. If your phone gets cold enough it will even shut down to protect it. I’ve never had that happen with a gps. If I could design a phone it would be the size of an iPhone 12 mini with double the battery...

    Powder and Bullets

Never really thought about weighing and/or settling of powder! Guess that goes to show how much muzzleloading and shooting I do! Gonna be doing more as we’re hopefully headed back to CO next fall. That said, I’ve used both Thor’s and Bor Lokts and if the Federals continue to shoot good in my...

    GPS or phone

I’m a both person. Depending on what I’m doing I might be heavy one or the other. Phone battery life is a royal pain so that’s one of the nice features of a Garmin. As others have mentioned, phone durability is also an issue. I can drop my gps and not worry for a second anything is broken but...

    Colorado Copper Muzzleloader Bullets

Hit a bull last week at 21 yds with Federal Bor Loc MZ 270 grain and 100 grains pyrodex. It was a high double lung with nice exit and he went 53 yds and dropped. My buddy was watching the bull head in into the sun and said he could see the blood just spray out of the exit upon the shot. Not...

Federal BOR-LOC 270 copper vs 350 lead for Elk

Mine shot good in my T/C Encore with 100 grains pyrodex. Didn’t hit much bone with this shot at 21 yds and he dropped after an adrenaline laden 53 yard dash. I will continue to use the Federal Bore Loc MZs for all my muzzleloader needs now until they disappoint me. Happy hunting! furfishngame

Wish I lived closer to a store so I could look for them now and then. Been looking for these online all summer!

    CO Muzzleloader Recap and Review

Really appreciate the details on the sights! Planning to get a Williams setup on my muzzy before my next CO elk trip(hopefully next fall). I have a TC with the metal/fiber sights and they just cover SO much of a target. When we went out in 2017 for my first trip I was using the Thors but...

Four bearded fools on a Blue Ribbon adventure

Great write-up and story! I love me some PBR lights and my Draht! How old is yours? Mine is 9 and finally slowing down some. Since I got the elk bug a couple years ago Ive been thinking......I think a person could swing a trip with their dog along for company! A co-worker if mine did an...
