    I actually can’t even get blackjacks right now. I have 100 of them back ordered since March and I don’t expect to see them anytime soon. These are the Berger Elite Hunter 133.

    Latest group. Seems to have tightened up with RL23. With 56.5 gen’s she hit 3050 fps. With a little more barrel break-in I am hoping it hits over 3100. That should give it enough speed to open Berger’s out to 900 and 1500 ft lbs at 600.

    This is an Axisworks titanium brake they build to match the proof barrel contour. The scope is good so far. The 4wxi reticle is a little bit of an adjustment, but being used with a lot of youth I didn’t want a lot of extra reticle lines. Haven’t had much chance to mess with the illumination...

    I have had Ace’s on back order since March. Still no sign of them. I do have Hammer’s, Elite Hunters and LRHTs. All currently in load development, but really hoping the 133 Elite Hunter’s work good.

    That’s an astute point. Very odd that you recovered the bullet. Any chance you clipped a branch or some other obstruction before the bullet impacted the deer?

    We did a canoe-in archery deer and javelina hunt one time in AZ. That’s pretty unique. Only other real trip I have done was canoeing into Shoshone lake in YNP. Both were fun. Good luck. He sure to share your story.
