Yeah, going up the cliff right off crossing the North Fork river was a lot of fun. Really thought after the 4th time sliding back down the rock face I was going to break a bone, best case. 5th attempt was the charm.- Farz-U-Know

No, as far as I could tell the box size is just to small to keep a good set of coals going. I had the air flow from low to high trying to keep it going at a reasonable rate. In the end it would go really hot and burn out within minutes or it would just smolder and fill the tent with smoke. The...- Farz-U-Know

Idaho Unit 39 Solo Backpack Rifle Hunt
Did the trip. Having done it, I did but hey it was fun. Had a great time met some really awesome locals and didn't get my white cali tagged jeep destroyed by locals. LOL. Good people out there for sure.- Farz-U-Know

Checkout Cliff Grays fire starter here: It's a variation of the dryer lint and Vaseline that I have used before but I like this a bit better, less mess. Looks like a no brainier to make. The candle wax is about $30 on Amazon so that's your major expense.- Farz-U-Know

Archery Elk Sleep System - Hammock
I used an Eno double hammock on my 2016 AZ elk hunt and loved it. Temps were around 40 with the lowest around 28-30. Best bino harness and why
Thanks for the info guys. I'm rigging up for an Idaho elk hunt this fall and looking for a new bino system. Looks like either FHF or Marsupial. Think I'm leaning toward the Marsupial. Anyone use the gun attachment? I'd like to have my sidearm handy and that looks like it fits the bill.- Farz-U-Know
