# 1, Yes draw back sooner when possible, # 2 do not be concerned about an elk seeing you if you haven't drawn yet. They will not spook like a Whitetail if you do not move! Elk do not recognize the human figure on its own. Stay still & patient & they will calm down. Don't make time a factor... -
