    Oh, Yea, i noticed on GoHunt that there were some people with 1 point that didn't draw for the tag that I am looking at. The percentage is higher but not all got tags. thanks for the reminder.

    If there are tags available for the leftover draw then I'd keep building points. If you are hunting on private, are there type 2 tags that are "private property only"?

    I am going on an outfitted elk hunt with my Father In law and his buddy. we will be getting our meat processed and then taking it home. How big of a cooler would I need for 1 elk? I am not trying to count my chickens.... just want toi be prepared and optimistic. thanks

    What a really cool hunt. Were the odds better for this unit or the herd? Did I read the draw results correctly that you drew with 19 points and someone else drew with 16 and people with 21, 19, 18, and 17 along with others with 16 did not draw? is the weather always like that????

    thanks IABoilermaker, I am a nosler fan only because thats what I use. I will have to check out the horandy reduced loads. She likes to worry about the recoil, she handles her 20ga well so it should be ok with practice.

    hopefully for girls first hunt hope to be taking my daughter on her first big game hunt and my first antelope hunt. Using the "short cut/ backdoor" provided by bigfin on instagram, it appears that we drew!! now i need a .243 load for her.........
