I’m reaching out to see if anyone is interested in coming along on my NV archery bull hunt. In the past my dad has always been my hunting partner. Over the course of my 25 years of being a tag holder I only hunted a few days without him, and he was present for all of my kills. He passed...
Fully agree. I was sending some pictures to my wife during last years scouting trip and she asked if I was taking promo shots for Toyota.
I’ve only explored a small portion of it. Hoping to get eyes on more of it before the hunt.
You’re right about the “who” being more important, and that’s why this will be a significant net negative. Zero chance the majority of those affected will relocate.
We haven’t even treated all the ground that already has a massive road network in place. And the stated emphasis has been on WUI and community protection. I’m struggling to think of any communities in roadless areas.
It was between those and Falken Wildpeak. Went with Falken because of lower price, better warranty and plenty of good reviews. 1,500 highway miles, and some decent off-roading in eastern NV have left a good impression.
I love my ‘21. It’s gone everywhere I needed it to in NV. Trying to make it last as long as possible with the switch to the hybrid. I might trust that engine in the future, but no reason to doubt the 3.5.
I work for the FS, and it’s a near daily occurrence of coming across some kind of damage or dumping. And those that would do this in the first place tend to not respect closures anyway. Recently found some fresh tread tracks behind a locked gate meant to protect a high elevation fawning area...
I think Mr. Newberg himself has a couple videos on YouTube covering this topic. I’m most familiar with AZ. If you’re not concerned with killing a trophy you can fill most tags if you’re willing to hike. A decent amount of late season hunts don’t require too many points.
