im figuring my trip to colorado from oregon is gonna run close to $1000 each way with my dodge 5.9 diesel at 11mpg,,gonna be spendy but at least its for both an elk and a deer.- dan.kirkpatrick

What is your cooler set up for elk?
ive been using a 7 cu ft chest freezer in my trailer, for several years now, my solar panels and inverter power it up nice for multi-state hunting trips once back at camp.- dan.kirkpatrick

i seen a guy with a flip up window can am that looked good,but i dont think they make a flip up in glass for the yamaha,,the flip up might be better for dust though creating a positive air flow in the cab when flipped up- dan.kirkpatrick

i have a 2026 wolverine x 2 1000 and went with glass windshield with the louver flip vents at the bottom,,yes it creates dust like crazy in the cab,,installed super atv roof and rear plastic,,still had alot of dust in cab,found large gap 1 inch+'at base of rear window to black plastic base was...- dan.kirkpatrick

Oregon fires
a ton of winter habitat all over central and eastern oregon is gone along with summer habitat too,,theres not gonna be much for them to eat this winter,,hard to tell ,but oregon certainly could roll right into a bad winterkill this fall,even if its a mild winter.- dan.kirkpatrick

Clutch replacement
if it hasnt been apart before and has factory loctite on crossmember bolts,heat from a propane torch helps a bunch to break loose bolts.- dan.kirkpatrick

Make brown rice palatable
my dr said white rice has too many carbs that hit fast,{diabetes} ive found that brown rice is good cooked slow in cream of mushroom soup,,good with chicken- dan.kirkpatrick
