I also upgraded from Vortex Viper 8x42 to Maven B2 9x45 with the Amazon Prime Day sale. At first, I couldn't get used to the Maven eyecups. I felt so much more comfortable with the Vipers. Great podcast. Thanks for highlighting this issue. I'd add that it's hard to disconnect the issues with having minorities involved in woods with the history of (1) Lynching and (2) Sundown Towns.
