    I feel like there is no rhyme or reason as to when whitetail shed in Montana. I've found fresh sheds in late December and seen big bucks packing still in mid-April. Found a couple so far but most still have their headgear.

    Ibought a new sawtooth 45 to replace a pintlar last fall. I like the new mysterium frame better than the guide lite. I felt like my sawtooth carried weight more comfortably. That said, I'm still exo-curious.

    10 Point Cow Hunt

    Based on my very limited experience in Colorado, i wouldn't burn 10 points on a cow tag. Where i hunted in a general unit it was not that hard to find elk. I'd have to imagine 10 points would draw a tag where it isn't too hard to find a bull.
