Update: there is definitely a green tint to the image on the vortex binos. It is subtle and it seems like the lighting conditions influence how noticeable it is. Talk me out of a Leupold SX-4 15-45x65
"Cheaper" spotting scopes leave a lot to be desired. They are a "nice to have" item for most hunters and in my opinion if you really want to benefit from one, it is worth saving the money to get a really good one. Tripod Shooting Experience and Tips???
I shot off my siuri tripod last weekend for the first time and used my hand through a trekking pole strap as rear support. I was solid up and down with a slight wobble left to right. Rang an 8" plate at 400 on my first try so I'd say it worked well enough that I'll probably try to get used to it.- Bulldog0156
