Can’t even find .22 ammo here in NE WI. Cabelas had 8 boxes of 300 rounds a couple months ago. I bought 6 of them and don’t know why I didn’t buy them all because I haven’t seen .22 ammo since (other than a few boxes here and there of small qty performance ammo). Thinking of buying an O/A shotgun
I started doing some research myself for a clay/pheasant o/u. I’m traditionally a pump guy but there are some benefits to the o/u. Found this recent review of a CZ in that sub-$1000 price point - very informative/mixed/fair in typical Ron Spomer fashion...- Buckyranger42

How to Pick a new hunting round?
Well, I suppose most would say it’s a combo of everything, and I’d also guess folks would say accuracy trumps all. I was in the same boat recently. Deer Rifle help
I had a Browning X-Bolt Hunter (matte blued barrel, wood stock) in 7mm-08 with Vortex Razor HD LH 1.5-8 scope. Perfect WI whitetail rifle. I sold mine because I prefer a Rem 700 action/safety, so now I use a Rem 700 BDL - classic wood/blued barrel - in 30-06. All of your options are solid...- Buckyranger42
