How old is too old to hunt?
My dad was still doing packin Elk hunts at 85. I just turned 80 and will be going on a moose hunt and later a grizzly hunt. Have been hunting almost every year since I was 10. My younger “65” hunting partners are great!- buckyg1944

Did you shoot your first deer with open sights?
68 years ago at 12 shot my first mule deer with a 300 Savage lever action with peep sights. Still have the gun.- buckyg1944

Pickled eggs.
I just buy 2 cans of pickled beets, drain the juice off. Good for at least a dozen eggs, spice it up with hot chilis, garlic, etc. I also use a microwave egg-pod takes 9 minutes for 4 perfect hard boiled eggs.- buckyg1944

Accuracy of a NEW Browning BAR Mark 3
Been shooting a 7mm BAR for darn near 50 years, still my Moose, Caribou, and Bear gun. Still around a 1" at 100 yds.- buckyg1944

Kodiak Lodge 12x12 or Cabelas Instinct 8 person?
Bought the Kodiak bow-flex 4 years ago for use in the interior of Alaska have about 80 nights in it and love it. This fall the wind blew 50+ mph as well as a ton of rain, stayed dry and warm. We did install a stove jack for a wood stove. The setup is 10 minutes with 2 guys.- buckyg1944

Anybody Else Hunt with the Same Rifle for Half a Century ?
BAR 7mm mag, 1972, just got back Sept. 20th from my DIY moose hunt in the interior of Alaska. Bagged my fourth 60" plus bull, BAR still shooting great, at 78 years young getting a little shaky off-hand, thank God for Trigger Sticks. No pic's cannot get my camera to download.- buckyg1944
