I hate to say it, but I agree. Goes against my instincts, but I'd love it if they had a federal ban on the antler market (only if it meant a total repeal of all shed regulations).
I believe they need hunted and managed, but the hypocrisy that rednecks think only humans are allowed to kill elk is retardation at it's finest. Wolves are a boogeyman for rednecks. They turn into triggered snowflakes when you mention them. You can love wolves and want their populations...
NDOW admits wolves are in Nevada
Multiple Jim Bob Billies scream that they've been here for decades.
Jim Bob Billie then contradicts himself saying they're going to kill all the moose.
Yet somehow NV got it's first Moose hunt installed when wolves have been here for decades. (They'll make...
NDOW should impose a lifetime hunting ban for people abusing the system. I have zero idea how landowner tags work, but my instinct would lead me to believe tags of any sort should not be able to be auctioned. That kind of shit is turning hunting into a rich man's sport more than it already is. I...
How does one sell a Nevada tag for tens of thousands of dollars? It makes no sense. You cannot transfer them to someone else.
All the tags should be for residents only imo, but I'm glad they made it harder for NR. I already got one tag this year and will probably get a second on FCFS. Hasn't...
What the hell are you talking about? Who's click farming tags? Russians?? It's not like you can sell tags. They go quick cuz people are competing with you. There aren't "click farms".
There's no excuse not to have results out in less than a week after apps close. It's 2023. Draw's are computerized and thus completed relatively instantly. Idaho is getting more incompetent year after year in all aspects of their management and that's sayin' something.
Because not being able to hunt in a state you're a resident in for 7 years is already an unjust punishment. Nevada has tons of elk. Residents shouldn't have to wait 10+ years between each bull elk hunt opportunities. However, I'll flip my take on it and say that I constantly see bull elk tags...
I recently got into shed hunting and I find that article disgusting. I'm actually glad they banned NR's and I'm more of a libertarian. That scene is retarded. I recently unsubbed to all the shed hunter YT sites. I might watch some every now and then but I'll do everything in my power to not help...
Well, that's if it's downhill...and I'll probably debone the fronts in future as that's all gonna be burger/jerky anyway. I'm not that tough. I get jealous of dudes who are 6'3" 190 lbs. They have such an advantage over me carrying heavier loads no matter what shape or how many legs days I put...
I weigh 140 lbs and will never debone or leave heart/liver which is why I'll never be a one trip guy. I have no problem leaving all the quarters bone in and just taking the head/straps/organs out then going back with empty pack to get the quarters next day. Obviously this limits me from...
As a resident I'm obviously stoked about this. I think it's unfair that we have same blackout periods as NR's for elk so it kind of balances fairness out a little. What I don't get is why they won't let people accumulate points DURING the blackout period...or at least a few years of the 7 year...
