Resurrecting this thread. My 12-year old has a cow tag next week. We made one scouting trip earlier this fall (September) and scouted both Cimarron and McCrystal campgrounds. Just be careful. A ton of the Italian clothing and footwear is just Chinese factories and Chinese labor relocated within Italy to get that "made in Italy" tag. It is one of the primary reason COVID-19 rocked Italy so bad at the outset.- BayouBengal

Son needs a rifle for deer hunting
This is exactly what I did for my wife and my 8 year old son. Both have Ruger M77s in 257 Bob. They are an absolute joy to shoot and very accurate.
