What's everyone's opinion on the best unit to get a Pope and Young ram for a 63-yr old NR?
I know there is some archery only tags but would like to have the option of a rifle as backup.
Also, max points holders didn't draw any of the tags last year and I have 26.
Thanks
Nothing wrong with a landowner getting a tag to hunt their own land. Most states do that, and I know one state that the tags are free for the landowner.
Who's to say that there is to many permits issued? How much does the huge elk population affect the deer? also, I'm getting very skeptical about all the deer and elk "deadheads" being "found" anymore in the LE units.
You left out muzzleloaders season on the choose your weapon statement.
Also why don't the muzzleloader hunters have to buy an extra tag like the archers have to?
Shed poachers need to lose their hunting privileges when caught trespassing on both public and private.
Legislation has tried twice, but for some reason it keeps failing.
Me and my daughter have shared a Cooper model 52 for the last 12 years.
It has a very long list of one shot kills on antelope, deer, elk and a few coyotes.
Ranges from 180 yards to 620 yards. Best factory rifle I've ever bought.
