Tape at the end of barrel?
I use the tape but the string at end of barrel is interesting. I do have a difficult time gauging wind, now if i had a way to gauge slope angle in the field .- Afishhard

Hunting Clothes and scent control
Whitetail deer are the best at smelling, using sent control never hurts But as others have said wind direction is key to any hunt. Humans stink of danger to animals. Movement is also a big thing. I have watched deer stay in the shadows for over an hour just watching before they ever stepped... -

Alaska Fishing 2023
Where did you fish out of ? We stay in Kasilof and drive down to anchor point to launch. Those fish are some of the best you will ever eat Your right about fish processor that is the only way to do it . Pick it all up on way to airport.- Afishhard

Middle Keys in April
Group of us have a house early April in marathon on gulf side. Taking our boats down for a week of tarpon and hoping for some bonefish on the shallow flats. We have been there few times but always in the winter for sailfish. Always some type of catching down there .- Afishhard

Bull moose
Killed mine this last year with 300 win mag 180 grain. Your 300 win mag will do the job just fine. Only need for bigger caliber is a good excuse to buy another rifle.- Afishhard

Meat
I use company called trophy express Cost was same as putting all that meat as checked baggage. Was a good experience, they have a list of freezer storage spots and then pickup and deliver to Lower 48 I am using them again this year.- Afishhard
