I don’t think it’s the “last shot “ there’s tons of elk opportunities especially with cow tags and the group here will come up with something when and if your up to it again and if it was the last shot , you sound like your good and you had a great time . there was lots of “accidents” then …. 20 points for a 417-21 tag that is easy draw for a R . 799-21 lots of folks with 5-14 dumped . Crazy the amount of points people have- 8andcounting

Different state and little off topic but I was bored so decided to go through Montana elk permit draw stats from last year , in a unit with a guaranteed LE tag there was someone that dumped 16 points on it and several more in the double digit range and dozens in the 3-8 point range .
