    I drew a Week 1 cow tag for the end of November, unit 3. You seems to be pretty knowledgeable on the area. I’m looking at the area south of Thunderridge to focus my efforts on. The biologists I talked with helped me focus into that area. I was wondering if you have insight into that area.

    Also what tend to be the elk behavior ptterns that time of year? And when do you think it would be a good time to scout as I’m probably going to only get one dedicated scouting trip.

    I’m a rookie elk hunter and trying to DIY.
