I always went with 10 ply but I like you couldn’t get the ST Maxx in the size I wanted but I love the tire so went with the 8’s & haven’t had a bit of problems on the very same roads & trails I always drive. Just my 2 cents- 325 WSM

I can’t really tell you what the Athlon’s compare too as I’ve never really been around or used the high end brands I just know they’re very clear for the price range they’re in. Probably not a lot of help to you just my personal experience -

Can anyone recommend a heated vest?
Got an Ororo for Xmas 3 yrs ago, works very well. Battery life has been good. I would buy one again- 325 WSM

Many many miles left on that Toyota. I understand the itch of a new one though. Toyota is bulletproof & this is from a die hard Ram guy. Had an 83 4x4 sr5 out of high school & wish I still did- 325 WSM

Colorado Cow Moose weight/size?
Can’t speak of Chiras, but the cow Moose I shot here in ND weighed 1300 lbs skin on at the butcher. Walking up on an animal that size is speechless. Good Luck!!- 325 WSM
