We're talking about the same gun though. If I had a choice between that nice dark camo and a plain gray Tupperware looking stock with all else being the same, yes, cosmetics would drive the decision which to go with. -

I run a floorless shelter 99% of the time and the one luxury item I pack is my Thermarest ultralight cot. I use the standard size. It's not good for sleeping on snow that's more than 1-2" deep or over large rocks, but it's worth the extra ounces and couple minutes of setup time as far as I'm...- 0uTkAsT

I was excited about the Ultralight but they're not offering it in .300WM, so I went the other way and bought the 110 Classic instead, which I later regretted. If I ever break down and get a 6.5CM, I'll definitely try the Ultralight. Please report back how you like it once you get your hands on it! -
What is the 1 rifle you regretted buying or wished you never had bought?
This beautiful rifle here, the new Savage 110 Classic, has become one of those rifles. I bought it unaware that the "threaded muzzle" was done with (relatively) odd 9/16x24RH threads. Upon realizing this, I had to roll the dice and have a suppressor mount custom made for it... and remind myself... -
Hand and mouth call recommendations for desert Coyotes?
I want to dip my toes into coyote hunting without investing in a Fox Pro right out of the gate, so I'm hoping for hand and/or mouth call recommendations from those with experience here. I live on the outskirts of town, backed up against a farm and open desert. If it were not for the laws regarding shooting within city limits, which I fall within, I would do the same. They are everywhere here.- 0uTkAsT
