The head of Montana BHA already has said he doesn’t support the hunt talk proposal in a Billings Gazette article. It decreases opportunity. Exactly the stance I thought they would take and exactly why I shouldn’t have given my $20 to BHA to reward FWP for hammering a resource to nothing.

Group draws up hunting regulation changes to spark conversation

One suggestion is that deer hunters would have to choose to either pursue whitetails or mule deer, and pick only one region of the state to hunt in.
